The macabre dance, also known as the Dance of Death, is a medieval art form that uses symbolism to showcase the inevitability of death. Often featuring skeletons dancing with people from all walks of life, it represents death as the ultimate equalizer. This concept emerged in the Late Middle Ages, a time of turmoil that sparked a new perspective on our finite existence. Our themes are inspired by Viking creators, possibly born from challenging circumstances that bring about newfound wisdom.
Nah. None of that. We just like skeletons that dance! This piece is Appx 6x12 on natural cypress wood.
