Wood Finish Choices

We generally offer several choices for the products that we carry. This is accomplished by a large variety of stains. See below for our  finishes and examples of stains used for them  

• Walnut (darker brown) - American Walnut. 
• Cherry (medium brown) - Traditional Cherry or Special Walnut
  
• Redwood (darker) - Cabernet, Sedona Red
• Barnwood(gray in tone) - Barnwood
• Osage (medium brown-orange tone) - Gunstock
• Hickory(light brown) - Provincial
• Unfinished (no stain, finish only)

We use clear gloss final protective coat for nearly all of our products except for natural pieces and maps which are giving a satin or semi-gloss coat to retain the natural look. 

Many of our pieces have a second process which gives the design and/or text a darker tone.

If you wish a particular finish color, we can always make that for you. This requires extra time but no extra cost. Contact us before or immediately after ordering so you don’t get the finish color we have in stock at the time. 

It is crucial to note that wood is an organic material and differences in grain and texture of even the same species can and do produce different outcomes. No two of our products will ever be identical.
