Rune Set

Lovingly crafted by a Viking who takes his runes seriously, these Mixed Wood Runes are meticulously shaped into various sizes and sanded from either assorted  species of exotic woods, hardwood or native Florida wood species (bottlebrush, camphor, cedar, cypress, etc).  Then, Viking Elder Futhark runes are applied to every piece using a Truart professional pyrography pen. The runes are sanded once more for a smooth finish. Next, for the exotic woods and hardwood runes Danish Oil is applied and allowed to seep into the wood for 24 hours. Natural runes are kept as much in their natural state as possible.  Lastly, we give them a dry buff with a clean cloth and storage in paper-lined containers which removes any excess oils and readies them for use. Measuring approximately 3/4 to 1 inch by 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 inches and about 1/8 to 3/8 inches thick, each rune set showcases the unique beauty of handmade craftsmanship.
